Legal Disclaimer

This page explains clearly what WASYH does and does not do, so your expectations rest on an accurate picture. It is not a scary warning — it is a statement of the service's limits.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This page describes how the platform actually works as implemented, and is prepared for review and sign-off by a legal professional before public launch. Some clauses (operating entity, governing law, refund policy, data-retention periods) are deliberately absent because they require official information from the platform owner.

Nature of the service

WASYH is a digital service for storing your wishes, messages and files, and organising their release to the people you choose under conditions you set. Its role is to record, store and deliver — not to execute anything legally.

Recording a wish versus enforcing it

Writing your wish here means it is stored and will reach the person you chose. But reaching them does not by itself oblige anyone to act on it. Enforcement follows the law and official procedure, not what is written inside the platform.

Digital storage does not create a binding will

Having a will or message inside the platform does not automatically make it a legally enforceable will or a binding document. Requirements for an enforceable will (witnesses, notarisation, formal structure) differ between countries and may require a procedure before a competent authority.

Estates and property

Dealing with an estate and property is governed by the inheritance law and mandatory rights of your country, and there may be limits on what may be bequeathed and to whom. What you write here does not change those rules and is no substitute for legal and religious advice.

Charitable wishes

You can record your charitable wishes and have them reach the person you choose. The platform does not collect donations, does not move money, does not carry out any donation on your behalf, and is not affiliated with any charity. Acting on the wish remains with the person you entrust it to, under the applicable procedures.

Accounts on external platforms

You can record what you want to happen to your online accounts, but carrying the action out on the platform itself (deletion, memorialisation, handover) follows that platform's own policy and process and may require official documents. WASYH records your wish; it does not execute it with them.

Responsibility for content

The content you add is yours and you are responsible for it. The platform does not review wills or verify what they contain, and is not responsible for legal consequences arising from what a user has written.

When you need a specialist

Consult a legal or religious specialist if your will involves money or property, division of an estate, arrangements concerning minors, or anything you want to be legally enforceable. WASIATY Legal can help you reach independent law firms; it is a service separate from storing your will.
